First, though this is not what I hoped, it's quite a good unit and I like it very much. Primarily because I can listen on a Bluetooth headset, my old RF Sennheiser headset and Onkyo stereo system all at the same time. Love it.

Disappointed only because when the advertisement it said would work with my specific headset I assumed that it would convert the optical signal to RCA eliminating the need for a splitter plus adapter to use the headset. Nope, still stuck with quite a complicated, cumbersome set up.

On the bright side, the BT transmitter works excellently and for some unknown reason it fixed the issue where ARC would not work on my TV when connected to the adapter for my RF Headset. Which is hilarious as this was the primary reason I needed to go with Bluetooth. So quite fortuitously, I can now use both at the same time!

My Bluetooth headset is too old to trial the better codecs and only is compatible with SBC which has notible lag (as expected).

Operation is simple and the screen turns.off when not in use. This I like because there is already too much light pollution in my entertainment unit. However, I do wish that the OK button was a bit more pronounced so it was easier to wake up the screen to change BT Receivers in the dark.

Not to long ago we upgraded our TV to a projection model. The unfortunate side to this is the sound was no longer coming from the front where the picture is, rather it was coming from the projection TV sitting above our heads. Our stereo is still on the other side of the room and running a wire between the projection TV to the stereo wasn't an option. That's where this little beauty comes in 🙂

Setup is as easy as can be. I love there are seperate buttons for each function instead of using a multifunction button. So once powered and wired up from my TV, I used the 3.5mm wire, I pressed the button on my bluetooth receiver to broadcast itself, and then pressed the search button on this bluetooth transmitter. It took about 5 seconds for my receiver to show in the display. I selected it and it connected effortlessly.

I have found no delay, as in the lip sync is perfect. I haven't paired any other devices to this, but reading the instructions it says you can pair 2 bluetooth devices to it at the same time.

This bluetooth transmitter has been awesome. If you need to do something like I did, or want more quiet by pairing to headphones, this is the perfect device. I give 5/5 stars.

It says it is connecting constantly or it changes to waiting but never connects. I was able to get it to pair to a different pure wireless headphones but the voices on the TV do not match the sound. I may have gotten a bad one but my experience with this product has been frustration and disappointment. The other issue with it is if you turned off the TV and then come back and restart the TV this product does not automatically connect to the headphones again. I got this device to connect my wireless headsets to my new television. My desire is to be able to watch TV and stream videos privately through my headset, without disturbing my family while doing so.

Initially I connected this device to my TV using the included optical cord. I was able to easily connect two wireless headsets (separately, one at a time) and my set of hearing aids to the TV through this Bluetooth transmitter. On this first attempt, I was using the default audio settings on my TV. The default settings on my TV automatically output audio to both the speakers of the TV and to the optical port of the TV. So, when I tested my three wireless hearing devices, I got very good reception of the audio from my TV, but the sound was also being outputted through the speakers of the TV. Eventually, I reset the audio output on my TV to the "Optical" setting only and that is when I experienced the best audio output using this Bluetooth Audio transmitter.

Next, I tried the same three wireless hearing devices using the AUX (auxiliary) output port and the AUX cable that was included with this transmitter. At first, I thought that the connection was working for either of my three wireless listening devices, but then I discovered I had to turn the volume of the TV all the way up to the output level of 26 to comfortably hear the audio from the video I was streaming on my TV. Normally, I can listen to my TV’s audio output comfortably with the volume set anywhere from level 5 to 8 when my hardwired are earbuds connected to my TV. Even though I could adequately hear the TV’s programming with the volume at level 26 on each of my three devices, my ears started ringing at that level and the audio became somewhat uncomfortable to listen to using the AUX cable connected between the TV and this transmitter.

I finally settled on using the Optical cord with the Audio Output of my TV to "Optical" only. My listening experience with this setup is very comfortable, and I can adjust the volume of the video I am streaming with the controls on each of my three wireless listening devices.

I like how easy it is to use this device to connect to each of my three wireless hearing devices, especially the fact that this device works with my hearing aid. I don’t always wear my hearing aids, but it’s great to be able to hear my TV through my hearing aids and to also be able to be connected to my cellphone for receiving calls at the same time.

This was my first experience with using Optical audio output/input between my TV and hearing devices, so I was a little confused with what Optical audio output was. Overall, this Bluetooth Transmitter works well.
