Product Description

This is the tutorial for using B03S TX mode.If you use RX mode/Bypass mode, you need to switch the mode button to the corresponding mode position (the mode switch position is TX-Bypass-RX in the figure above).When AUX and optical are used at the same time, AUX is effective and optical stops working.

Cable connection tutorial and TV setup

When using the wired connection, make sure the connected input/output device has the corresponding interface. When using an optical cable, the audio format of the TV output must also be set correctly.

Note: B03S supports low latency only in transmitter mode, not in receiver mode. When using, please turn the switch on the B03S panel to LL and connect Bluetooth headphone/speaker that also has aptX low latency. If the connected device does not support low latency, there will be a delay of 70-200ms.

I posted a question regarding the device's function, in particularly why I couldn't get the modes (the right switch when I toggled between low latency or HD) to work differently. It was always stuck in one mode. No matter if I was using it as a Transmitter (mostly) or Receiver (the left switch), nothing made the other options available.

I took the time to troubleshoot, but nothing made any difference. No one, unfortunately, was able to answer my posted question.

The most simple case use was using a 3.5mm cable to connect my computer to the device and have the device transmit the signals in high quality to my bluetooth speakers. It did not achieve any difference from transmitting it directly to my bluetooth speakers. Unfortunately, the audiophile funtion was not able to perform or show its qualities as advertised. I was just left confused as to why the mode was stuck in one position only.

There's a built in digital to analogue converter DAC in my laptop already. Plugging in using the 3.5mm cable provided did not allow my laptop to recognize the device as a DAC in my attempts; so likely, it would not have made a difference.

For some who may use it as a receiver for older stereo systems, then maybe it would be practical? I'm not sure. However, my stereo system already has bluetooth receiving capabilities, so there is really no use of this device as I mainly wanted to improve the sound quality as mentioned above.

I was unable to test out the device's promised features and was left with frustration only.

It works, it acts like a sound card when plugged into a computer & works on PS5, but has a micro-USB. Disconnects sometimes when using HD or LL APTX & Static sounds when you first plug it in before connecting to your��hd headphones & static sounds when plugging��stuff into your computer like a phone. When you plug it in it will be at max volume, even when windows volume says it is at 50% just move the volume slider and it will lower the volume.

Once paired, I can come back later, turn on the TV, and when the sound starts they pair right up without delay. Using the optical sound-out connection I'm not experiencing any of the annoying latency that some devices have. This makes my old "smart TV" as smart as the new one that has BT built in. I bought this on a wim since I couldn't find anything else "audiophile grade" on the market with APTX Adaptive. But this little box has blown away all my expectations, it was easy to setup and use, the manual is clear and easy to ready English and most importantly it Transmits APTX Adaptive to my headphones with incredible sound quality and visually no latency. If you need APTX Adaptive now and can't wait another year or two for better products to arrive this is an excellent value buy. The only cons would be no RCA Out (without a 3.5 to RCA dongle), both antennas are attached to unit and can't be replaced/upgraded, and the entire plastic construction feels cheap compared to the standard aluminum enclosures we see on just about everything hifi from China. Regardless of these cons I would still recommended this in a heart beat.

This fit the exact need that I had! My Samsung tv is only two years old but the Bluetooth receiver in it glitched and doesn’t work. This device solved that problem!

There’s no lag in the audio and really no issue at all aside from the inconvenience that was caused by Samsung.

This company also included a FAQ page in the box, which helped to fix a problem with some weird digital static that was first coming from the speakers. But that FAQ page was perfect because it told me to “turn off Dolby when using digital output” and that fixed the problem.

I use this transmitter to connect my AirPods Pro 2 to Windows via Optical Out using the AAC codec. While not entirely lag-free, the audio delay is significantly lower compared to connecting directly through Bluetooth on my Windows computer.

A major benefit is the elimination of Bluetooth interference. When connecting directly, audio would sometimes stutter or cut out entirely if I received a notification on my phone, which was also Bluetooth-connected to my PC. Restoring sound required toggling audio outputs. With this transmitter, I no longer experience these issues.

I know it's AAC because I confirmed when connecting directly to my Windows computer via Bluetooth, it is using the AAC codec, and connecting through the transmitter is lower audio delay. I used the software, Bluetooth Tweaker, to confirm that it was using AAC codec when connecting directly.

I'm giving it 4 stars because I encountered an issue when switching between 3.5mm AUX and optical. After using AUX, the optical connection stopped working, and no amount of troubleshooting helped, including a factory reset as recommended in the manual. I had to request a replacement.

Also, I would have preferred if the device had an indicator light to confirm it was using the AAC codec, rather than having to rely on external software for verification.
