I wish they had a MF/AF switch but also think it’s small size prevented that.

Its not a full size lenses and you'll see that when its on a camera body it looks quite cute but thats just fine when you want something small. Just note because of its small diameter it can't fit a matte box but for the purpose I need this camera for; as a run and gun there's no need.

Bokeh is great even at 2.8, its not the fastest in the world but its just about there that you can get some really good depth. On a CMOS sensor the 18mm is just enough to feel like you've got some space for a wide, but I do sometimes feel like I wish I could go a bit wider, until I just step back a foot or two. Full zoom is also plenty tight for most shots. Love this lenses.

I previously had a Sony 16-55mm which I traded for this sigma 18-50mm, not an extremely noticeable trade off with a narrower focal length. Pictures are equally sharp and not something post production can’t fix. Previously owned all the sigma primes until the Sony came along but the Sony is noticeably heavier and bigger in contrast to the Sigma. At 200g less that makes a difference for weight reduction during traveling. The sigma looks much more compact and visually pairs well with the A6700.
