Exactly what I wanted
It’s exactly what I was looking for. The blades are EXTREMELY SHARP, so be careful!! I cut myself by not being careful and getting the dicing blade stuck when I inserted it the wrong way. It didn’t take much pressure at all to slice right into my knuckle as it slightly touched the blades!! As for use, it slices and dices potatoes beautifully without any issue. Onions get stuck in the dicing blade and are hard to clean out, so dice at your own risk. I have a straw cleaning brush I used to clean it but it isn’t sturdy enough to get the onion bits unstuck. If you have a dishwasher it might not be a problem though. Haven’t tried the other blades since I wanted it for the dicing blade and I’m quite satisfied with its performance and the results. Note that if the potato is too big and you get it stuck in the shoot then the dicing won’t be as even (see picture) but if they drop freely then they come out great. Even getting it stuck it was faster and more even than doing the job by hand. Would absolutely recommend.

    Last September 2023 there was a Forest Fire that took down 58 properties here where I live. All my Kitchen Aid tools, including Stand Mixer, Blender and Food Processor were destroyed. I had all of those wonderful items for more than years and they were still working full speed. All the new items are for the new home being built so I have not tested them yet. But, I believe there will not be any issues because of the Good Name of Kitchen Aid. Even my new Stand Mixer has stainless steel attachments NO plastics. Love the name and performance of these items.

    Love this! I do not need to chop anything by hand anymore. There are a great many of blades to get the variety of cuts. I did have to watch the video on how to use it first but once I understood how to use it, I use it for everything!
