    This replacement carafe is smaller than the original one. It is a much lighter pot, glass is not strong like original pot. Even the way the handle is attached, does not feel safe to pour when the pot is full. I do not recommend it!

    A pleasant surprise with this replacement. My Mr Coffee is over 30 years old. This arrived and appeared to be the same shape and size. my original pot had a nice stainless steel band on the handle, and the one supplied with the replacement was plain black plastic. I was able to remove the single screw that holds the handle to the pot and take the old fancy handle and move it to the new replacement - fit perfectly. Could never tell that I replaced the coffee pot. Definitely recommend.

    If you’re here, you’re likely in the same situation I was: trying to replace a carafe that no longer exists in any traceable record. I don’t envy you.

    I ordered and returned three different options before giving up entirely. Dimensions were off, lids didn’t fit, or the spout was incompatible. It became a full-time job with zero reward.

    This review isn’t to knock the product itself—it’s more of a warning for fellow coffee lovers. Finding a true match is nearly impossible unless your model is still in production. I genuinely wish you the best of luck in your search. You’ll need it.

    My stepfather has been using the same coffeepot for so long it's actually disintegrating and occasionally little bits of plastic need to be fished out of ones coffee. This was a very welcome replacement. I couldn't remember the brand or model coffee maker he uses, but took a risk and ordered it anyway. It was a perfect fit so I think it really will work with most standard coffee makers.
