    Although the authors are supposedly popular sci-fi writers and the book has good PR, I found it disappointing. The basic idea of the story - aliens leave a puzzling and dangerous mess behind after visiting - is interesting, but the authors were not up to doing justice to it. The incredibly sappy ending made the book a complete waste of time.
